Our Special Wedding Prints

Caitlin has worked for quite a while with the specialist printer Posterjack. They’re located in a scrappy area constantly under construction, but their quality of work and customer service is phenomenal.

So it was hardly ever a question that we would get a couple of our very favourite wedding photos turned into special-material prints like Caitlin uses for her art (and like we did for our engagement shoot).

We decided on two – one to be part of a whole wall of prints, and one to have a literal spotlight of it’s own.

Here they are!

In wood (you can just see the grain in the top left), just after we started down the aisle - and just before I scooped up Caitlin and ran with her out of the barn!

We couldn't not have this done on metal. The tractor is a Porsche!

Posterjack offers a variety of options for prints, and also for hanging them. Both of these have ‘floating’ hangers, so they seem to sit a little off the wall – combined with the raw wood grain especially, it’s a nice effect.

The metal print can even be displayed outdoors – we probably wouldn’t risk it, but they say it’ll hold colour for 150 years!

Definitely consider looking into Posterjack (or PJ as we often call it) if you want some really special prints of your own special occasion or big day. And absolutely take some time going through your photos, and your home, thinking about what would look great where! We’ll be doing another post sometime about the completed “wedding wall”…
